Join BCONE and the NYC Brownfield Partnership for a Joint Scholarship Fundraiser
Grab your friends and join us for a fun, virtual cocktail party! It's the perfect opportunity to reconnect with your peers. While we are networking, expert mixologists from St. Agrestis will walk us through the process of creating some interesting and tasty drinks.
In addition to having a great time at this Aperitivo Hour, your participation will support the next generation of brownfield and environmental practitioners. All proceeds from this event will go to the BCONE and NYCBP brownfield scholarship programs!
About the Scholarship Funds:
Charlie Bartsch Brownfield Scholarship Fund - Charlie Bartsch was one of the nation's passionate voices promoting the importance of brownfields remediation and redevelopment. Shortly after Charlie's passing, BCONE established a scholarship in his honor. The fund provides scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students at colleges and universities in the northeast region who have declared their majors in the myriad of fields that work in the brownfields industry.
Abbey Duncan Brownfield Scholarship Program - Named in honor of an avid environmentalist, talented dancer, and tireless community supporter, the Abbey Duncan Brownfield Scholarship Program is an annual program designed to provide financial support to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in the brownfield industry in New York City.
